​Meet the Team: Simon Carson

Simon Carson of Philangles tells us a little more about himself and his role in Stampex. ​

What's your role for Stampex International ?

I am the Stampex treasurer.  My main role is to oversee the accounting and as treasurer to sign off the accounts.

How did you get into Philately ?

I have been involved with stamps my entire life. I started out in the industry at the age of 14 with a Saturday job at a local stamp shop. I have held a full time employment in stamps for 36 years. I established Philangles 30 years ago.

Do you collect stamps?

Yes I still collect. I collect specialised and unusual Australian stamps and postal history.
